Ski de rando au Laurichar

In front of such a huge ovation, I've decided to speak about the walk we did at "Laurichar" For that walk (or should I say "that ski"?), we were 11. All ready to face the strength of the mountain! The expedition was lead by the very famous guide Jean Poulet, and followed by the best alpinists ever. (Guillaume, Quentin and Clément Duret, Marie-Lionel and Marjolaine Poulet, Gilles Barbe, all of them being with skis; Charles-Edouard Minet, Eric and Christophe, with rackets; and Pierre with rackets and a snowboard for the way down)That session got decided on the previous evening, and as the weather was good, and the snow appealing on the north side of the mountain, we made our move. The group being quite big, we got to cut it in several small groups, one of which decided to explore a new way of going down of the mountain (Thanks to them we now know it's not a good idea to go down on the left side of the track)
The way up became a little hard at the end, but most of us made it without any problem, and after appreciating the view, the sun, and the freezing wind, we decided to make it back to the car, leaving beautiful scars in this wonderful snow we had.We hurried up back to the village as Clément had to take a train a few hours later, and hadn't prepared his things yet. It was a very nice morning, I hope we'll do a lot of other walks like that one again.

Bravo! For the prosperity of Quentin's blog. Spectacular view! I am just too jealous right now, because I am only sitting in a cafe, drinking soup!

That's what France is about: fun, great views. Yeap, that was a fun walk. And the windy conditions made us feel as if we were doing real challenging mountaineering (while it was just an easy walk for kids and old people).

Is it me or did you use a little irony speaking of those-people-who-tried-another-way-of-getting-down-the-mountain?

we had to try it ; the car seemed closer that way!

I wouldn't dare use irony against such adventurous and sportive young fellows!
